The members of the EPAA have recently seen the necessity to restate that Internet piracy dramatically affects them and to confirm the premise that such practices are having drastic negative impacts on their financial stability.

The European Commission has launched a new consultation on Private Copying levies, aimed at developing a common application of these levies.

The members of the EPAA fully support the system of payment for private copy.

Following its action on VOD rights in December 2007, the EPAA made a stand on the situation in Finland on broadcasting rights for programme content.

When facing the management of VOD rights in France and Europe, it must be clear that if a broadcaster wants to preserve their VOD / TV exclusivity over a specific film, they need to pay again for the film’s rights.
